Marbella is famed for being a city of many faces, two of which are luxury and glamour.
Ultra-wealthy Arab Princes, owners of mega yachts berthed in the harbour, can rub shoulders with one another without attracting attention. People are used to seeing them. A Russian magnate can drive by in the most expensive sports car in the world and not be noticed by passers-by. It’s difficult to attract attention when you are one of so many.
The best mansions, marinas, golf courses, shops and fashion boutiques, restaurants, clubs, discotheques and select bars are filled with world leaders from the nobility, politics, business and entertainment.
Festivals such as Starlite, and a host of spectacles in the worlds of both entertainment and sport, attract visitors from all over the globe.
All this makes Marbella a world-renowned centre of luxury and glamor.
